Happy Birthday (yesterday) Lindsey, our first born love! We love you so very much and thank the Lord for you everyday! I am having a really hard time realizing that Lindsey is now 8 years old! That just seems so old and too grown up. It seems like yesterday she entered the world at 1:17am after almost 3 hours of active pushing. All she wanted this year was a real American Girl Doll...and that is just want she got! She wanted a "just like me" doll and she couldn't have been more thrilled when she opened it! We had our family party yesterday (on her real day) and today's party had to be postponed. Lindsey has strep throat! Who gets sick on their birthday?! Poor kid. We will have her friend party over break and I'll post pictures soon....an American Girl Doll Tea Party.

Earrings!
Out of the blue on Saturday, Lindsey asked if she could get her ears pierced. Darryl and I looked at each other, shocked. I told her it was ok with me, if Daddy said it was. He agreed, and tonight was the night! I thought she was going to chicken out, but she didn't. She looks SO grown up now. I can't believe she is going to be 8 years old in just a few days!

Cast time!
Today Hayleigh got her cast on. She did a great job and was so brave! She picked out a purple one, as it is her favorite color. She will have x-rays again on March 9th, and get it taken off. IF it has healed properly, she will be all set. It not, she might have another one on for a bit. She also got her haircut today! So cute!

Broken Hand
Hayleigh broke her left hand today during gymnastics. Poor baby! She is a trooper though and doing quite well. I guess she landed wrong while working on her cartwheel. We were at the doctor for over 2-1/2 hours and came home with a temporary cast. We will see the orthopedic doctor on Monday for the setting and the real one. She wants either a pink, purple, or rainbow cast. The horrible thing is that it is her left hand, and she is a lefty. Watching her (try) use a fork this afternoon was funny, as she can't do anything righty! I will post pictures on Monday.

100 days!
Tomorrow will be our 100th day of school!! Really?! This school year has flown by so fast! I am enjoying my students this year, but the good thing is there are only 80 more to go and then summer vacation, yeah!!! :)
